Troubled US pop diva Houston has checked into a rehabilitation clinic for the second time in one year, her publicist’s office said 24 March 2005. Houston, who has waged a lengthy and public battle with drug addiction, entered the undisclosed facility at her own request, according to a brief statement from Nancy Seltzer Associates. The multi-Grammy winner spent five days in a rehab clinic in March last year. The 41-year-old diva and her husband, controversial Rhythm and Blues singer Bobby Brown, have long been the subject of tabloid headlines linking them to drugs.
