Q105 Brings Back Gas Prices From the 60s, 70s and 80s

Q105 plays the Greatest Hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Now we’re rolling back gas prices to the 60s, 70s and 80s! It’s all part of the Q105 Days of Summer!

How much did you pay per gallon the last time you hit the pump?  $3.10 per gallon?  $3.20?  More?  Imagine buying gas for $1.25 per gallon…How about $0.36 per gallon or even $0.31 per gallon?!?  On Friday, June 15th, Friday, June 22nd and Friday, June 29th, Q105 gives you that chance courtesy of Marathon Petroleum Company and Radiant Food Stores.

Each Friday, one secret location in Tampa Bay will offer gas at a price from the 1960′s, 1970′s or 1980′s.

JUST ANNOUNCED!!!  The location for Friday, June 29th is at Marathon Petroleum Company Radiant Food Store, 4301 W. Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa.  105 people will have the opportunity to buy 10 gallons of gas for $.31 per gallon.  We will start forming the line at 10am (No Sooner!!!) and will begin pumping gas at 12noon.
