A Flock Of Seagulls had their van ripped off this past Sunday morning and it contained thousands of dollars of musical equipment

The band, who scored a hit in the ’80s with “I Ran (So Far Away),” had performed a show in Bellflower Sunday night and parked their van in the parking lot a Comfort Inn that night only to awake in the morning to find it missing. It was a 1999 Ford E-350 van and cameras show the suspects get into the van and drive away around 2:15am.The vehicle contained over $70,000 worth of musical instruments, equipment, plus two computer hard drives containing unreleased music from lead singer Mike Score’s upcoming solo project.

Mike Score is very upset and said Score. “If those guys who stole our van are out there, give us our stuff back and let us go on and be a band.”
