Spring is almost here: It is the universal season of awakenings, when everything is new again and people want to celebrate life and search for love… which brings us to the topic of my blog: Where’s the best place to find romance, a.k.a. a spring fling? Here’s a list of the “Most Romantic Cities In The U.S.A.”

When I think of the most romantic cities that I’ve visited, visions of Paris (France not Tennessee), Madrid, Lucerne in Switzerland, and San Francisco come to mind… Not Knoxville, Tennessee! I’ve been to Knoxville, and while the people were charming, I found the city to be indifferent and pragmatic. But Amazon didn’t consult with me. (That was a mistake!)

The good news is: Five Florida cities have made the list of the most romantic cities in America, in Amazon.com’s annual top-20 list.

The rankings are based on factors such as sales of romance novels, romantic comedy movies, and romantic music in the area.

As I mentioned, Knoxville, Tennessee took the top spot. Coming in second place is Alexandria, Virginia; Miami; Orlando; and Cincinnati round out the top five. And, Clearwater is number 12.
