After earning the “pole position” for the Daytona 500, Danica Patrick saw quite the wave of tweets, many of which had some fun at her expense.

It’s been difficult to use the common racing phrase, for the first time having a woman in that lead spot at such a major race.

Danica came forward to talk about it once and for all, but we’re not sure that she helped her cause.
