The beautiful baby Clydesdale that starred in the Super Bowl 2013 commercial is a television and Internet sensation. The sweet, adorable foal galloped into our hearts at full throttle, stirring up feelings that run the gamut from happiness and love when the foal is showing affection for her trainer to sadness and a sense of loss, when it’s time to say goodbye. Then, we’re saddled with amazement and peaceful contentment, when the man is reunited with the horse he lovingly raised. But manely, we feel hope…

As for the Clydesdale’s name? Out of the 60,000+ name ideas Budweiser says it received, the winning name is “Hope.”

I suggested “Stevie” in my tweet to Budweiser yesterday, since the Fleetwood Mac song “Landslide” is used in the ad. Budweiser responded with Stevie Nicks’ choice of name:

Now that the horse with no name has been branded, (I think Hope is a stable name.) we just might see her in other Budweiser commercials, or marebe even on the Big Screen.
