In my life, there have been any number of iconic, “had to have it” albums. The short list includes “Pet Sounds”, “Sgt. Pepper”, “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, “Madman Across The Water”, “Exile On Main Street”, “Born In The USA”, “Thriller”, Saturday Night Fever” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumors”.
Today, the 35th Anniversary Edition of “Rumors” goes on sale. It’s a 3 CD set, including the remastered original album, a second disc of live performances from 1977 world tour, and a third disc of unreleased material.
Rolling Stone Magazine interviewed Mick Fleetwood, Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, who discuss the “new’ album, the 2013 tour (which hits the Times-Forum June 7th), and the “dramas and sagas” of the internal relationships that fueled one of the great albums of all-time. And, from the 1977 tour, one of my favorite Mac songs, “Go Your Own Way”. Enjoy!
