Set your DVR’s! Coming February 15 & 16th on Showtime, The History of the Eagles Part 1, and 2.  Assembled from “home” movies and private videos, the documentary debuted this past Saturday at the Sundance Film Festival.

I first saw The Eagles in the early 70′s, sun setting on an open pavilion, they walked out and launched into “Take It Easy”. Fantastic memory, still bright in my mind’s eye.  Here’s a video of their performance of the song at The California Jam in 1974.
