As Mason Dixon was catching up on the air with Trans-Siberian Orchestra co-founder Paul O’Neill, he was able to grant a Christmas Wish.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra has been amazingly helpful and generous. Always willing to continue to be so, O’Neill surprised everyone by adding to what had already been given to the wish recipient.

St. Petersburg: Mason Dixon, host of Q105’s morning program for 30 years has been helping families in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area with his Christmas Wish Fund for 19 years. This all volunteer 501c3 charity has raised and given over a million and a half dollars to deserving families.

Today, Trans-Siberian Orchestra head Paul O’Neill called into Mason Dixon’s show to promote the Trans-Siberian Orchestra show and heard the tragic story of a man named Jose who lost his wife and mother of two children to cancer three years ago. Tragedy struck again this past Thanksgiving weekend when Jose was attending a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game when he received a call that his home was destroyed by fire.

The Christmas Wish Fund gave Jose $500 and then Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Paul O’Neill generously donated $5,000 on behalf of himself and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and $1.00 from every ticket sold to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra 8pm show on Saturday, December 15 goes to the Christmas Wish Fund.
