When the King made his debut at Madison Square Garden in 1972, his stage manager Joe Guercio said Elvis Presley was nervous, when he walked out on stage. It was his first and last performance in New York City.
Thanks to an avid fan, who sneaked into the concert with a hidden camera and a tripod taped to his leg, we can see the show from the fourth row. The young man was one of 80,000 people who attended the sold-out concert.
The video of the King is part of a new three-disc compilation, entitled “Elvis Presley: Prince from another Planet.”
