This could explain why I gained weight, after I moved in with my hubby. Hey, it’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
According to a new survey, moving in with a significant other has an effect on your waistline.
One in three women GAIN weight after moving in with their boyfriend/husband, while one in three men LOSE weight.
That’s because each person’s eating habits rub off on the other. Guys begin eating more so-called “female” foods like yogurt and salads, which helps them lose weight.
Here’s another reason: 90% of women say they’re more likely to buy meat when shopping for a meal they’ll eat with a man.
And when couples eat dinner together, they usually serve each other equal-sized portions. That means that the man eats less than he usually would, and the woman ends up eating more.
So ladies, how do you prevent this from happening?
Don’t let his eating habits become your habits. Continue to eat healthy, smaller portions, and start exercising…together!
