The Rolling Stones have yet to make any official announcements about upcoming concerts or new music, but they have been busy celebrating their 50th anniversary, via a photography exhibit in London and an upcoming photo book, Rolling Stones 50. And the band members have a few videos that they’ve just posted to their official YouTube page.
The first video features Mick Jagger and Keith Richards walking you down memory lane at the photo exhibit (at London’s Somerset House). In the video, Mick and Keith show you around the photo gallery, while reminiscing about their clothes or the venue showcased in each photo. Keith points out a photograph he’d never seen of an aerial view of the stage at their Super Bowl performance, while Mick explains they were the first band to play the gig live.
The second video they shows Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood thumbing through the Rolling Stones 50 book and showing their favorite stages and gigs.
The final video is a montage of the preparation and decoration of the Somerset House for the exhibition, including a quote from Mick Jagger in 1963, “I give the Stones about another two years.” The video also includes behind-the-scenes footage of a photo shoot held at the Marquee Club, and their arrival to the Somerset House exhibition.
The Rolling Stones exhibit at the Somerset House runs through August 27, and the book Rolling Stones 50 will be out October 16.
