The man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin now has a website set up so that he can speak to his supporters. TheRealGeorgeZimmerman.com has been overwhelmed by web traffic; however, the site provides the first outlet for Zimmerman to express himself since the February incident.
The site includes a link where supporters can give money to the 28-year-old to help pay for his legal defense.
The site solicits donations via PayPal with Zimmerman’s promise that
“any funds provided are used only for living expenses and legal defense, in lieu of my forced inability to maintain employment.”
Yesterday, the special prosecutor announced she would not put the facts before a grand jury. Instead, Angela Corey said she would decide for herself if Zimmerman should be charged in the shooting death of Trayvon, which he claims was self-defense.
