Jessica is back! And, her new TV show starts tonight…

Jessica Simpson is returning to TV tonight in the series premiere of “Fashion Star.” The singer, actress, and fashionista will serve as a celebrity mentor on the new reality show, along with Nicole Richie and designer John Varvatos. Elle Macpherson will host the competition, while the 14 contestants will be judged by buyers from Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and H&M. After each episode, viewers will have the chance to buy that week’s winning designs in one of those three stores.

“Fashion Star” is scheduled to premiere tonight at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.
