[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Aerosmith[/lastfm]‘s rockin guitarist, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Joe Perry[/lastfm], has told the world via Twitter that the bad boys from Boston will indeed be playing venues all over America this Summer! Here’s what we have so far…
From Joe’s Tweet come these words: “AEROSMITH U.S. TOUR STARTS IN JUNE! tickets on sale in March.”
No dates, exact concert locations or any more ticket info yet but if they go on sale next month, you can bet more details will ‘walk this way’ pretty soon. UltimateClassicRock.com says the tour will have to accommodate [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Steven Tyler[/lastfm]‘s American Idol schedule and passes along a comment from Joe about Aerosmith’s new album, saying it will sound like some of their early stuff:
“We’ve tried to bring that back,” Perry says. “People are always asking for something that sounds like the old stuff, but you can’t rewrite ‘Mama Kin’ or ‘Same Old Song And Dance.’ All you can do is start from the same place you started when you made those records.”
