[photogallerylink id=26729 align=right] The new Bob Dylan album, Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International hits stores today and what a treat it will be for all fans. The album honors the legendary artist but it also has a 2012 twist with hot artists of today taking part in the project.
The album in stores today will benefit Amnesty International. The album will feature 76 tracks by more than 80 artists appearing on the four-CD set, a special treat for fans of those of Dylan and the artists on the album. Pop artists such as Adele, Miley Cyrus and Kesha will make appearances on the album. Indie rockers, the Silversun Pickups and the Belle Brigade and veteran folkies Joan Baez and Pete Seeger. Other artists in different genres have also participated, such as alt-country musicians Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Brett Dennen and the Avett Brothers. Then, Dave Matthews, Joe Perry and Maroon 5, Queens of the Stone Age, Ziggy Marley, Mariachi El Bronx, Somalian rapper K’naan, Bad Religion and Rise Against.
