Last year’s top billing concert act, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jon Bon Jovi[/lastfm], hasn’t got time for the pain and wants to help you out when it hurts. Check out his new commercial, Jon’s first product endorsement ever, and find out how Bon Jovi is helping the less fortunate, too!
As part of Advil’s “True Advil Stories” marketing campaign, Bon Jovi explains why he took the gig: “Most people only know one side of my life: they see me on stage, and they think that that is who I am. There’s many layers to everybody, everywhere. Singer, songwriter, philanthropist, father… life’s a juggling act. When I have to get through the pain, I know where to go.”
This all started with a calf injury while performing last year. In an interview, Jon revealed what makes the pain go away, hence, setting up the partnership. Advil is also a sponsor for the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, which opened the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, NJ last October, where the ad was filmed. The restaurant helps people in the area by offering meals without a particular price…patrons only have to pay what they can afford. Thanks, Jon!
