Plant High In Shock Over Death Of Math Teacher [Video]
Students and Facility at Plant High School are taking to Facebook to memorizeteacher Nancy Farnsworth who died with her husband in a car accident on Friday. Q105 sends our warmest and deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Farnsworth also to facility and students of Plant High School.
A Facebook page was set up to honor the Plant high math teacher, it’s called R-I-P Mrs. Farnsworth. Hundreds of students and facility have posted remarks about the well-loved and respected teacher.
Carlos posted, “Mrs. Farnsworth was my 9th gradeteacher, and I can honestly say that she was one of the best and most loving teachers I have ever had. Her devotion to her student’s education was truly unique, and one could tell she cared about their success.”She was very loving, and we have truly lost a wonderful individual in our school and lives.”
Jessica remarked, “She was one of my favorite teachers and is honestly the only reason I passed geometry because she just would not let me give up trying until I understood everything.” “Everything she did was for her students. RIP Mrs. Farnsworth”
Alex simple stated “Math tomorrow is going to be horrible”. “You were my favorite teacher and its horrible to think i will never see you again. I miss you….”
Police said Farnsworth died Friday after Eric McNeil lost consciousness while driving. McNeil’s car crashed into the family’s van killing Farnsworth and her 63-year-old husband, Webster Farnsworth.
A 3-year-old child also was in the Farnsworth van. The child, although critically injured, is expected to survive.
Farnsworth was a math teacher for ten years at Plant High School in Tampa.
