New York’s Apollo Theater unveiled the Walk of Fame, celebrating artists who performed at the legendary venue.

The inaugural class of honorees include [lastfm]Patti LaBelle[/lastfm], [lastfm]Smokey Robinson[/lastfm], the late [lastfm]James Brown[/lastfm], [lastfm]Gladys Knight and the Pips[/lastfm], [lastfm]Little Richard [/lastfm]and the late [lastfm]Ella Fitzgerald[/lastfm]
Next month, two more names will be added to the Walk of Fame: “King of Pop” [lastfm]Michael Jackson [/lastfm]and “Queen of Soul” [lastfm]Aretha Franklin[/lastfm].
